Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Optimal location: within easy walking distance to old town, next to the train/bus stations, lots of restaurants and services in the vicinity. A substitute host, very personable, was ready, waiting outside the main door of the residential building and welcomed me right away. Rooms were in the -3 level (accessible with an elevator); the room french windows opened to a view of a courtyard garden. It was very quiet at night. Room was large with two comfy twin beds, an adequate T&B. There was a separate kitchen-dining room with a fridge, utensils. I had 3 keys: enter the building, enter the guest room area, then for my room. Breakfast was included - provided by a local cafe-bakery.
Negative: Hallways from the elevator, and inside the guest room section were dark. Light did not automatically turn one consistently. One had to find, grope for the switches. Check-out at 10 AM was too early.
