Escape to this hideaway on a hill with stunning sunrises & sunsets. Located in New Berlin, NY, this farmhouse sits on 26 acres of land, close to orchards, local wineries and breweries, country markets, and is ~25 mins from Colgate Univ. and ~40 mins from Cooperstown.
With 5 bedrooms and 3.5 ba, it's perfect for large gatherings. Enjoy relaxing mornings in the screened porch, games outside during the day & the stone fire pit at night. Decompress in the quiet natural beauty this property offers.
The space:
You'll have the entire place to yourself including 5 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. Two of the five bedrooms are perfect for families with small children with enough space for air mattresses or a pack n’ play (both provided). Three full size bathrooms are on the main floor for easy accessibility. The house sleeps 10 people comfortably, and an additional 2 with air mattresses. The large kitchen (with new appliances Oct. 2020) and dining area not only serves as a central meeting point for food and fun, but boasts gorgeous views of the sun rising over the valley - perfect for your morning cup of coffee! The screened-in porch is perfect for reading, napping, meditation, or just enjoying the beauty and quiet that nature offers.
We have a large meadow with views of the valley for kite flying, picnics, and playing games. Our pond is too deep for swimming, but a great spot for relaxing to watch the sunset. Adjacent to the house is a working corn field owned by local farmers.
We have desks available in two of the bedrooms. While we do provide WiFi and hope it will not have any issues during your stay, this is a rural area and there are often unexpected outages or slower speeds. *Please take note of this if you need more reliable WiFi.*
A high chair is provided in the kitchen for little ones.
Our home is located about 25 minutes from Colgate University, 40 minutes from Cooperstown, NY and the Baseball Hall of Fame, 35 minutes from Utica, NY, and 30 minutes from Oneonta, NY and the All Star Village.
