++No refunds for utility (cable, WIFI, etc.) interruptions outside of Host control.
++Outside security cameras will be recording during your stay.
++Any issues need to be reported to Host within 2 hours of check-in for quick resolution.
**SPECIFIC CHECK-IN PROCEDURE: Guests greeted in person and given a tour. Check-In 4PM-9PM (notify Host at least by the day before check-in of your planned arrival time). Government issued photo ID/s will be checked/scanned for the (1) or (2) Guests on the booking. Property accessible only by pre-booked Guest/s named on the booking.

AREA HISTORY: Tiny Treasure House is located on original land grant property purchased in 1751 by Archibald Stuart, a lawyer, judge, and Revolutionary War soldier who studied under Thomas Jefferson. He attended the College of William & Mary, served in the Virginia House of Delegates and Virginia Senate, and died in 1832 (visit his grave in nearby Staunton at Trinity Episcopal Church). Archibald’s brother, Benjamin, built the present family home (private residence with historical markers 3 blocks away).
HOSPITALITY, A MAD GENERAL, A TUNNEL & THE CIVIL WAR: Located in the British Colony of Virginia, areas of mountainous western Virginia were known as frontier country even after the Revolutionary War. Jarman’s Gap, 6 miles from Waynesboro, was a major wagon crossing for the Blue Ridge Mountains and made Waynesboro a stopover location for those traveling westward. The downtown area was plotted in 1798. In the 1850's, a railroad tunnel, engineered by Claudius Crozet who emigrated to the U.S. from France in 1816, was constructed through Rockfish Gap and was recently restored and opened to visitors. In 1865, Waynesboro was the site of the last battle of the Civil War in the Battle of Waynesboro, lasting only 20 minutes. Ridgeview Cemetery served as a burial ground for the Valley Campaign.

FOR THOSE WITH ALLERGIES: We use FREE laundry detergents and DO NOT use aerosol spray fresheners/plug-ins. Hand/dish/toiletry soaps provided for Guest use are mainstream and may have a scent. We cannot guarantee "allergen free" to those sensitive to chemicals or scents even with the air cleaner as it's not know what past Guests have used in the space.
