Goose Cove Condo is situated on the shore of the Gulf of Mexico in Cedar Key. Sunsets from the Goose Cove balconies are spectacular. Fish from our dock from sunrise to dark if you like. The most attractive aspect of Goose Cove is Location. See the photos and you'll understand! Goose Cove is comprised of two condo units a lower studio and an upper 1 bed 1 bath and can sleep up to 4 people.
Goose Cove has a unique configuration. The master bedroom is upstairs in the main part of the house. The second bedroom is a 1 bed 1 bath studio design and located on the ground level under the main house. From the main part of the home you need to go outside, down the stairs, then into the 2nd bedroom. This is suitable for adults and perhaps teens but not for younger children.
Upstairs: The upstairs features the living room, kitchen and dining area. The top floor is the impressive master bedroom which features a queen bed and overlooks the living area with vaulted ceilings and adjacent private bath with tub and shower. The living room is spacious, comfortable and has an amazing open view of the Gulf. Sliding glass doors in the living room access the main balcony with its panoramic water views.
Downstairs: The studio is on the ground floor and has a queen size bed, tv, bath with shower, microwave and mini fridge. Plus, it also has a private waterfront balcony overlooking the Gulf. It should again be noted that from this bedroom the access to the upstairs living areas is via the exterior entrance stairway.
The condo has a washer and dryer, smart TV's, WiFi, and access to the fishing pier. **FISHING PIER WAS DAMAGED BY THE RECENT HURRICANE AND CANNOT BE USED....REPAIRS ARE IN THE NEAR FUTURE***
Parking is limited to 2 vehicles. When you arrive one vehicle needs to be parked under the cover directly in front of the studio door and the other in the parking spot accross the driveway, please see photos. Not that these are assigned spots so it is important that you only park in these areas. *No boats or trailers.
Goose Cove Condo was built in the 70's and still has that 70's feel. We are clean and well supplied with all your vacation needs. Kitchen is well stocked. Bedroom and bath linens are provided.
The lower level studio of Goose Cove is at ground level, no stairs required. The upper level requires guests to climb 1 story of exterior stairs to get to the main living area and then another interior to get to the loft style bedroom.
