Summary: The rooms are in a modern separate block next to the pub. Ours was clean, tidy with a comfortable bed and excellent bathroom. No air con but a modern fan provided a welcome alternative. The rooms have 4 dedicated off road parking bays as well as those in the pub car park. Check in is via the pub and staff were very friendly and helpful. Food menu was varied and offered a really good wide choice with discounts on certain nights. We chose the 12" Pizzas and they were excellent with different twists on ingredients to the norm. Breakfast was also very good and plentiful and catered for vegetarian options. If there is one criticism it would be about the chairs and seating in the pub itself. They are in serious need of change and are unfortunately badly stained. Having said that we did learn that the pub/hotel is under recent new ownership with plans to upgrade facilities are in the pipeline. All in all we had a pleasant enjoyable stay and would stay again if we are in the area. Too many of these establishments are having to close so they deserve to be patronised.
