Lovingly restored, this original Shoalhaven Heads beach shack has been brought back to life for a new generation of holiday makers to enjoy. The new owners of The Soul Haven see these fibro shacks forming a unique piece of Australian and local history and undertook the restoration and transformation of this gorgeous house.
Only 2 hours from Sydney and 3 from Canberra, plan your surfing, golfing, fishing or relaxing stay at The Soul Haven.
Guests of The Soul Haven will immediately feel the warmth of the home when they are greeted with the striking coral exterior colour - a reminder of the era of these homes of the 1950s.
Flooded with natural light, the open plan lounge, dining and kitchen will be the gathering place for up to 4 friends getting together for a weekend away, a family of 2 adults and up to 2 children, or a couple wanting a romantic trip away or a quiet escape from their city life.
The two bedrooms offer the choice to be made up as king beds, or split into single beds. The luxurious beds are dressed with beautiful quality linens and are softly lit with bedside wall lighting.
The bathroom is completely new and includes a walk in shower, built in laundry and toilet. There is a second external toilet, once known as the outhouse, which is in keeping with the original design of these homes.
There is a lovely back deck off the lounge room where guests can sit after coming home from the beach and enjoy a refreshing ale and BBQ with their friends after washing the sand off under the external shower.
The owners haven't missed a thing when it comes to guest comfort! The house includes wifi, a smart TV, board games, a picnic set for guests that want to enjoy one of the beach, park or river locations that Shoalhaven Heads has to offer. The kitchen is fully equipped for guests to self cater as well as having the convenience of a dishwasher, the lounge area is air conditioned and all rooms have ceiling fans.
The local shops are basically across the road and the beautiful Bangalay dining is only a stroll away for guests who are wanting a romantic fine dining experience complete with cocktails.
The Soul Haven is pet friendly so you can bring your best friend along for your getaway and you won't have to worry how they are coping without you. There is an off leash area down by the river at the end of the street. (*conditions apply)
