Positive: We were totally surprised that the villa is quite large, and is set in beautiful gardens. The location, right on the riverfront is amazing! You can see right out to the entrance of the Tamar River, and can watch ships going to and from the port, as well as swans swimming in the river. It is a very quiet and peaceful location, not far from the centre of George Town. We appreciated the very effective reverse cycle air con, as it was unusually windy and cold weather while we were there. The owner is very accommodating and easy to communicate with.
Negative: The bed was a little firm for our liking, and the lounges in the living areas were a little too soft. It would be great to have a vegetable/ potato peeler in the kitchen, and some sharper knives. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
Summary: A peaceful place to stay with incredible views.
