A beautiful period farmhouse, Listed Grade II, set in acres of gardens and grounds. Surrounded by the rich and diverse countryside of the South Downs National Park and within easy reach of Chichester, Goodwood and the coast.
The house combines the character and charm of an older building with the modern finishes of a contemporary home in a superb rural setting. All bedrooms are ensuite. Seabeach Farm is approached via a picturesque tree-lined driveway passing through open fields to an inner gate, flanked by brick and flint walls and leading to a courtyard. It is set over three floors, with bedrooms on each level.
One of the most attractive aspects of the setting is that the house lies very much within its own grounds, surrounded by well-established gardens, a small orchard and paddocks. Seabeach House enjoys an exceptionally stunning backdrop and a high degree of privacy, surrounded by farmland with many miles of footpaths and bridle paths providing access to the surrounding South Downs National Park.
Seabeach Farm, in Halnaker, is popular village on the edge of the South Downs National Park and the Goodwood Estate. Halnaker has a well-known public house and lies adjacent to the village of Boxgrove which also has a village shop and the ancient parish church of Boxgrove Priory. The surrounding area is renowned for its sporting and recreational activities, including horse racing at nearby Goodwood. Goodwood also plays host to the annual Festival of Speed and the Revival meeting at its historic motor circuit. There are also many footpaths and bridleways through the surrounding national park countryside providing plenty of opportunities for walking, riding and mountain biking. Summary: The house was perfect for our family reunion , beautifully decorated and clean. The country location is magical with lots of wonderful walks from the house . The horses next door were an added little treat for the children , the ladies who own them gave them a little pony ride around the field . Communication with the manger was super . Highly recommend to anyone looking for a countryside retreat with family and friends . Great kitchen for cooking also . We will be back :)
