The Boathouse sits on the quiet foreshore at the entrance to the Percuil River, there are few nicer places to stop and watch the world go by, enjoy the private terrace, dip your toes in the sea, or more than your toes! This must be one of the most romantic locations in the UK. The owner is happy to rent out boats and kayaks, or if you prefer a sailing lesson, then this can be arranged. The accommodation is lovely, with tasteful decorations and inventive uses of light and space, however, you will spend almost all of your time staring out across the water wondering how you can change your life to live somewhere like here.
St Mawes is one of the most exclusive traditional villages in the Country, with a wealth of activities within close reach. Historic Castles from the era of Henry VIII, glistening blue waters, bustling beaches, Cornish Pubs, award-winning restaurants, amazing coastal walks, ferries to different locations, little motor boats, kayaks, and stand-up paddle boards, all available for rental. (During the season) The Roseland peninsula has a huge variety of places to explore, there are many beaches, some with golden sands, some with shingle, all with a splattering of rock pools, there are secluded coves, towering cliffs, and the famous lighthouse at St Anthony. (Fraggle Rock for everyone of a certain age!) The artists' haven of Portscatho is well worth a visit, as is Veryan. with its famous round houses.

Ground floor only: Enter into the conservatory with seating area and on into the hall with doors leading to: Bedroom with built-in double bed and large porthole style, round window looking through the living room out on the river. Shower room with WC and hand basin. Open plan living room and kitchen with breakfast bar, there is comfortable seating and a large patio door that opens onto your own private balcony / terrace that stretches around the side of the property. At high tide the water laps against the slipway, while the wind ripples the water and the sunlight reflects across the amazing view.
Outside: There is a parking space just above the Boathouse, a grassed area to the side, a private balcony and patio with table and chairs, there is another bench alongside the slipway which is also used by the owner.
