2 Bedroom House in Gambassi Terme

On one of the Tuscan hills, the venerable former convent of San Vettore awaits our guests. It is absolutely quiet on the ancient Frankenstrasse (Via Frandigena), the construction of which began in 800 AD.
The house is surrounded by ancient holm oaks, a small pond, but also archaeological excavations, such as B. the foundations of the Romanesque church from 1075, an oil mill, and two approximately 5000 year old sacrificial stones.
On the almost 7000 sqm plot, everyone will find their "favorite corner", perhaps in the hammocks, or at the small pond, in the beautiful courtyard or at the breakfast area with a view of the Appenine.
The whole property consists of 4 buildings that are built around the beautiful old monastery courtyard. My husband and I live in one of these buildings. The other 3 are available to guests. We are happy to give tips and suggestions if
that is wanted.
There is another apartment and the tower, which is also expanded as an apartment. A maximum of 9 guests can find their holiday home here.

The property is located 2.7 km from the main asphalt road in the forest on the ancient Franconia road - Via Francigena. The historic cities such as Florence, Siena, Pisa, San Gimignano and Volterra can, however, be reached in no more than an hour's drive. The sea is 45 km from the house.
This apartment is equipped with Tuscan furniture, but also antiques. There is a bedroom with 2 adjacent beds (each 2 x 1 m), a kitchen and a shower room. The living-dining room is separated from the bedroom by a beautiful arch.
In addition to this apartment, which has a bedroom for 2 people, there is an additional bedroom with a separate entrance with a double bed for 2 people and a wash basin and toilet.
The tourist tax is only charged by the municipality for up to six days of stay per person.
