The living room has comfortable seating and glorious views of Summers Beach (obviously!) and Place House on the far side of the Percuil River. There are a plethora of superb local walks from your doorstep, notably over the hill to the stunning stretch of coastline between St Mawes and St Just in Roseland, where there has been a place of worship since the 6th century, whether you are of a religious persuasion or not the church is magical, the gardens breathtaking and there is a wonderful little cafe for well earned refreshments.
St Mawes is one of the most exclusive traditional villages in the Country, with a wealth of activities within close reach. Historic Castles from the era of Henry VIII, glistening blue waters, bustling beaches, Cornish Pubs, award-winning restaurants, amazing coastal walks, ferries to different locations, little motor boats, kayaks, and stand-up paddle boards, all available for rental. (During the season) The Roseland peninsula has a huge variety of places to explore, there are many beaches, some with golden sands, some with shingle, all with a splattering of rock pools, there are secluded coves, towering cliffs, and the famous lighthouse at St Anthony. (Fraggle Rock for everyone of a certain age!) The artists' haven of Portscatho is well worth a visit, as is Veryan. with its famous round houses.

Outside: South facing patio with table and chairs, mature garden laden with shrubs and flowers. Street parking just below the property but access to off road parking if desired behind the property (100m walk away.)
