Summary: The property is really lovely, but all instructions are online- all well and good if someone had brought a laptop or phone…..it was winter but no wood or kindling was left for us. It was really, really noisy- there is a train line behind the property and trains ran until very late, there is a main road at the front and cars went past all night, and there is construction happening right behind the house which started early on Saturday morning. The dishwasher hadn’t been cleaned in a while because it made the dishes dirtier than before they went in, and there was no liquid wash. There was only enough tea and sugar for three cups….with 5 people staying 2 nights, we had to go grocery shopping as soon as we got there. Not enough chairs for 5 people in the living room. But the house is seriously gorgeous.
