Summary: Het vakantiehuis is precies zoals het is beschreven: ruim, comfortabel, met een aantrekkelijke uitzicht. De bedden zijn goed, de verwarming werkt snel en de douche is heerlijk. We hebben de service als uitstekend en heel vriendelijk ervaren. Wat andere gasten over het open haard hebben geschreven is helaas nog steeds waar: het trekt niet helemaal lekker waardoor de woonkamer snel blauw van de rook kan komen te staan. We hebben ontdekt dat je het hout meer naar achteren moet gaan stapelen en ervoor zorgen dat het vuurtje snel heet wordt, veel aanmaakhout gebruiken en een flink stapel bouwen. Gelukkig wordt het hout beschikbaar gesteld en hoef je niet zelf de natte blokken uit de supermarkt te halen. Wat niet in de beschrijving staat is dat de doodlopende straat waar het huis staat een soort vakantiehuizen oord is geworden, met veel grote verhuurvilla's, tot wel 30 personen, en er worden nieuwe bijgebouwd. Er wonen daar nog nauwelijks mensen uit de dorp. We hebben onze vakantie in de herfst gepland, toen het niet druk was. En toch hebben we 's nachts last gehad van groep mensen die een bedrijfsuitje vlak naast hebben gehouden. In de zomer moet het nog stukken luidruchtiger zijn met grote families met kinderen die vlakbij neerstrijken. De streek wordt als stil en wild omschreven maar al die mensen en hun drukte en lawaai maken het toch minder aantrekkelijk, wat jammer is. Verder is de omgeving prachtig, vol bossen, rivieren en mooie heuvels. Onze hond heeft ook genoten van de vele wandelingen die je inderdaad vlak bij het huis kunt beginnen. Het enige minpunt is dat het huis niet helemaal omheind is: aan de voorkant kan een hond of een kind zo de straat op. Goed opletten dus!
