Welcome to Alley Barn! This family and pet friendly cottage has everything you'll need for a memorable get-a-way at the ocean. From the front deck are views of the Pacific over a lovely perennial garden. Whales are often spotted! Off the back deck are views of the rolling hills of beautiful Sonoma County.
“The Barn”, as neighbors used to call it, was remodeled for comfort and charm. Vaulted ceilings and exposed shiplap was painted in light neutral colors to create a feeling of spaciousness and casual warmth. Artful designer touches now characterize this stylish Wrights Beach Cottage.
The "Alley" is historic Cliff Avenue, a quiet, one street neighborhood paralleling the bluff above Wrights Beach. It only has a couple dozen homes, many dating back to the 1950’s when it was a fisherman village. It’s a friendly neighborhood. People stroll down the street and through the community garden, enjoying the views and chatting together.
The cottage is ideally suited for a romantic retreat, a two couple get-away, a girl’s weekend, or a family vacation. It comfortably sleeps four adults in the two bedrooms – one with a queen sized bed, the other with a king. There is a third room with a daybed for an additional person. Alley Barn can be rented along with other Cliff Ave. homes for larger family reunions or special occasion gatherings.
The location is wonderful! – 7 miles north of Bodega Bay and 5 miles south of Jenner.
There are activities for everyone - Visit the art galleries, antiques shops, and restaurants in quaint nearby towns. Tour the award wining wineries of The Russian River Valley. Enjoy horseback riding on the beach from Chandler Ranch, surfing at Salmon Creek Beach, pampering at the Osmosis Spa, hiking through magnificent redwoods at Armstrong Grove, golfing at Bodega Harbour, abalone diving up the coast, kayaking and swimming on the Russian River…. And the list goes on and on.
