3 Bedroom House in Encounter Bay

Perched on a hill you’ll enjoy panoramic views of Encounter Bay from this inviting, pet-friendly home.
Relax while taking in the ocean views through the floor to ceiling windows in the spacious, bright family room. Featuring a large, fully equipped kitchen, meals can be enjoyed at the 8-seater dining table.
High-quality sheets are provided in all three bedrooms, and both bathrooms come stocked with towels, so you don't need to worry about bringing linens.
Pets are welcome at no charge!
The space
Family room:
The heart of this home and large enough for all guests to sit comfortably, either on the L-shaped sofa, at the 8-seater dining table, in a plush velvet accent chair, or at the tall breakfast table. The woodfire stove keeps the place toasty in the winter and the ducted AC keeps you cool in summer. High-speed NBN and streaming services available through the smart TV, as well as a cupboard full of DVDs, books, board games and puzzles.
Kitchen:
Equipped with a Nespresso machine and pods and a kettle with various teas you're all set for your morning brew. Other appliances include a toaster, a microwave and a Ninja hot/cold blender food processor. Plenty of pots and pans and dishes for a full house.
Bedroom 1:
Queen sized bed with high thread count sheets provided. There is an oil heater in the room in winter. This bedroom has a small ensuite bathroom.
Bedroom 2:
Queen sized bed with high thread count sheets provided. There is an oil heater in the room in winter.
Bedroom 3:
This room contains a set of bunks with a double bed on the bottom and single bed up the top. There is a single trundle bed beneath the double bed that can be requested to be set up at the time of booking. High thread count sheets provided for all beds.
Bathroom: The toilet is separate from the main bathroom, which contains a bath and a shower. All towels will be provided for guests.
Balcony: Take in the fresh air from the wrap around balcony.
Back yard: Fully fenced in, the back yard is perfect if you're bringing pets
Guest access
Access to the house: There are two flights of stairs to climb to get access to the house. There is space for two cars in the undercover carport, with plenty of space on the street for parking.
There is a reserve across the street that is a great place for kids to play or to walk the dogs.
Located 6.5km from Victor Harbor central it's only a few minutes drive into town.
Other things to note
While we welcome families please note that this home is not childproof. The woodfire heater does not have a guard around it. The outdoor stairs are also exposed.

Summary: Loved the property which had everything we needed. Unfortunately weather was not kind but the fire made up for not being able to get out. The house has lots of steps to access it but once settled the view from the windows was stunning. I would've loved to stay longer. The house is in a very quiet area. Communication with the owners was superb and they graciously sent a message allowing us a late check-out. I was happy to accept as it meant more time just to relax in the morning. The accommodation was very well equipped and if you do happen to leave anything the shops are about a 9 minute drive.
