The network of trails is 300 km long and offers the opportunity for both long and short ski tours. In addition to cross-country skiing, there are many other exciting activities such as dog sledding, kiting, canoeing and snow rafting. There is a grocery store, a sports store and restaurants within walking distance of the hut. The Olympic city of Lillehammer with its many well-known attractions and family activities is only 30 minutes away by car. Maihaugen, Lysgårdsbakken, Norsk Vegmuseum and Hunderfossen Family Park as well as a stroll through the tranquil promenade with its shops and restaurants are recommended. In summer, Sjusjøen offers beautiful hiking trails in the mountains, cycle paths and fishing in Lake Sjusjøen.
