2 Bedroom Cottage in Filey

Sandpie Cottage is named by our children who just love to play on the beach and make sandpies while we BBQ and watch the sun go down! To give confidence due to COVID 19 we have fitted hand sanitiser stations at both entrances to our house and further cleaning stations in both bathrooms. Our cleaning partner Sparkle and Shine based in Filey has taken great steps to ensure our house is safe and clean, please see the link attached. https://www.sparkleandshinecleaning.info/covid-19-protocals Our beautifully presented two bedroom shabby chic cottage is as you would expect decorated and equipped to a very high standard. We have WIFI fitted which from PLUSNET which is as strong as it gets at this time as we are awaiting Fibre optic cables fitted hopefully in 2021. Our house offers home from home comforts for the discerning holiday maker. We welcome family’s and couples to our home and we will accept up to two well behaved dogs at no additional cost, though we would ask you not to allow any dogs upstairs please. Note week booking is FRI-FRI but please feel free to contact us to see if we can accommodate you. The property which is fully central heated offers spacious open plan living / dining / kitchen area with a downstairs toilet with a hand basin, upstairs we have one double bedroom, twin bedroom and house bathroom which has a large bath and overhead shower, toilet and large towel radiator. The living room area boasts a selection of books and board games as well as a TV which has free view channels and an in built DVD player. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, washer dryer, electric hob and cooker, microwave, under counter fridge with small freezer compartment, toaster, kettle, cafetiere, teapot, flask and all the other utensils and essentials you would expect. We have also provided children cutlery, bowels, plates and cups. We have a dining table and four chairs in the downstairs open plan area, note a baby chair is also provided free of charge if used could we ask you to please clean after use? We also provide a travel cot if required for. Downstairs the floor is all wooden and the staircase and upstairs is fully carpeted excluding the upstairs bathroom. Outside to the rear there is a small open plan garden reached through the French doors. There is a patio area with a table and four chairs and a shared parking area. To the front of the house across the road there is a huge meadow area with two fishing ponds and an ideal area for dog walking. prices include all linen and towels.
