Summary: This is our second time staying in Sooke. This property is beautifully landscaped, and the view is breathtaking. It is a little close to the main house, but, we really didn't see the other people and they ended up leaving a few days into our stay. The cottage is very nice and had everything that we needed. We couldn't get any local stations on the TV, but we were able to connect to Netflix which was perfectly fine. I knocked off a star on the cleanliness because a couple of the bath towels were not clean. Otherwise, the owner maintains a stunning property. We enjoyed the hot tub daily. The cover was super easy to maneuver. (which hasn't been our experience with other properties in the past). The bed was very comfortable and it was very quiet both day and night. It was easy to adjust the temperature (A/C). The walk from the parking to the cottage is a little steep, but well maintained and graveled. Overall, this is a lovely beachfront cottage in a wonderful location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay here again.
