Summary: First off, I will acknowledge that most of the reviews of the hotels in Golden mention the high cost vs what you pay for, and this was no different. The standards of 2/3 star hotel/motels were over $350 (on a Tuesday!) so I opted for the $255 night at the Rondo. The hotel room was spacious, a bit run down, old beds and noisy AC. It was clean and comfortable though, overall not a bad experience. The room I had was at the front of the building which just had one floor so there was no noise from anyone above, which was nice. There was a fridge and freezer that was a little smelly from the previous occupant's food, but not the end of the world. Overall not a bad experience but extremely expensive for what you get.
