Kick back and relax in the heart of Texas Hill Country. This space is the perfect combination of peace and tranquility while maintaining a short distance to several hotspots, including wineries and breweries and a less than 10 min. drive to eclectic downtown Wimberley.
The house is 10-acre property w/ chickens, ducks, deer and wild turkeys. You will have a private area for star gazing, an evening fire and nature trails to explore.
The space
The house a mother-in-law suite connected to the main house (there are no shared walls, it is adjacently connected to the house). You will have privacy and peace and quiet. The space is best for 1-2 people looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway in the hill country. There are several sitting areas around the space, including a gazebo, hammock, 2 fire pits and a dry creek that runs through the backyard. There is also and additional 6 acres at the top of the property where you can wander around or sit under a big oak tree.

Summary: The highlight of our stay was feeding the llamas and alpacas and spending time with the ducks and chickens. We woke up to the sound of the birds chirping and surrounded by all these beautiful trees. The room was beautifully decorated and the hosts had a very informative welcoming booklet on the property and what to do in wimberley. The only reason why I m not giving this place a 5 stars is because we couldn’t get into the property right away when we arrived. We had trouble figuring out the passcode that we were given and after maybe 30 to 45 minutes of standing in the cold trying to get into the property, we send a message via the Vrbo app to the property manager who thankfully got back to us right away and we were able to get inside the room.unfortunately the property didn’t have a closet or maybe it did but it was locked and there was no drinking water but we used a kettle to boil water. Overall we had a great experience at this very unique and special place to stay.
