Summary: Great house, great location, great host!!The house exceeded our expectations and the snacks and refreshments provided by the host were a much appreciated surprise after a late arrival. It was just the 4 of us, 2 adults and 2 teens, but the house could very comfortably accommodate 6 adults plus kids on couches/daybeds. Each of our girls had their own room, which they appreciated as teens do. The house was comfortably furnished, with all the sheets, towels, and comforts of home. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the pots, pans, utensils, and gadgets needed to host a great dinner. I love the forethought of having the soft throw blankets by the sofas for movie nights, too. The house was in a quiet residential area. It was the perfect location for us, almost exactly halfway between SeaWorld and Six Flags, our two main destinations during the trip. It was less than a 15 min drive to either one, even with traffic. 25-30 minutes to downtown to explore the Alamo and the beautiful Riverwalk. If you're into caves, I highly recommend taking the ride out to explore the Natural Bridge Caverns. I did the Hidden Wonders tour and it was fantastic. I can't wait to try the Adventure Tours next time we are our that way for a visit.
