The Space:
This 2-level condo consists of 1,600 sq ft per floor! This penthouse condo is paradise, off the beaten path just a 3-minute walk to the beach, a short drive from Merida, and about a 12-minute drive to central Progresso. You'll find it hard to leave this tranquil place called Miramar Beach Condos! The communal pool is spectacular, with lounge chairs to sunbathe and a bar to set a cooler of drinks, plus we’ve provided beach chairs. The condo is outfitted with the most important comforts of home, and there’s an added bonus - your own private rooftop terrace with a shaded seating area decorated with a wall mural. Having a private plunge pool to cool off and a bar to make refreshing beverages will become your favorite place! The condo features 10 ft ceilings, quality furnishings, linens, and appliances, while the splashes of aqua-painted walls, beautiful paintings of beaches, and themed décor promote a soothing beachy vibe.
The main spaces of the condo:
- a SITTING AREA with 2 comfy sofas (that become sofa beds) and a 50” TV which makes this a great place to relax after a hard day of fun in the sun! This space has high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that not only give access to the BALCONY but disappear into the pocket of the wall, greatly extending the living room!
- a KITCHEN that has quality appliances which include an ice machine, coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven, blender, stovetop and an ample supply of pots, pans, dinnerware and glassware - more than what you’d need to prepare drinks, snacks, or any meal of the day. There are loads of custom cabinets and space to stock with your favorite munchies!

The Neighborhood:
Chicxulub is a very interesting place! Chicxulub Puerto is most famous for being near the geographic center of the Chicxulub crater, an impact crater on the Yucatán Peninsula extending into the ocean and created some 66 million years ago by an asteroid or comet. There’s a museum nearby where you can learn more. This region is home to many gorgeous cenotes /seh-NO-tays/ (natural freshwater sinkholes) and Mayan ruins and is known for its long stretch of quiet, stunning, semi-virgin beaches and ecological activities such as bird watching or bike tours. It’s where you come to rest, relax and recharge!

Getting Around:
The condo is located in the Miramar Beach Condos complex about 57 km | 35 mi from the Merida International Airport (MID) OR 349 km | 217 miles from the Cancun International Airport (CUN) - driving time varies depending on the time of day. When you arrive at the property, if you’re arriving by car, there’s one free parking spot available per apartment. For extra vehicles, we ask that they park on the street. Taxi cabs to Chicxulub and Progreso are not very inexpensive, plus there are rental car options available, and the bus station is about a 10-minute walk. Let us know if you need any assistance. Other Things to Note:
We include an electrical consumption of 15 kwh/day. This amount is complimentary and the additional amount of usage would be charged at the end of the stay. We monitor your consumption by checking the meter at check-in and check-out. In case, for any reason, you use extra KWh, these can be paid in cash at check out.
HOUSE RULES ARE STRICTLY ENFORCED
- Travelers must be at least 21 years of age or older to book.
- No smoking of any kind (smoking or cannabis) is allowed inside the condo, and the use of any
recreational drugs on the premises is strictly prohibited. Cigarette smoking is allowed on the
rooftop and terrace.
- No parties or events are permitted, illegal activity is prohibited, and excessive noise not allowed. No loud music is allowed after 10 pm. Please be respectful of the
neighbors. The walls of this complex are cement and sound carries.
- No more guests than those listed in your reservation are allowed. (Max 6 guests are
permitted).
- The apartment can comfortably sleep 6 people. In the event of extra unauthorized guests, an additional nightly charge of up to $30.00 per person can be charged at the discretion of the Host and potential eviction without refund could occur.
- No unregistered guests or visitors. The maximum number of guests to stay is 6. Unfortunately, we don’t allow day visitors. If there is an unauthorized person on the property, the host has the option to evict without a refund.
- No parties or events are permitted, illegal activity is prohibited, and excessive noise not allowed. Please be respectful of the neighbors. The walls of
this complex are cement, and sound carries. Quiet hours are from 11 pm to 7 am. - Subletting of the property is not permitted. The host has the option to evict without a refund.
- Guests confirmation and may be asked to show ID upon arrival.
- No smoking of any kind (smoking or cannabis) is allowed inside the condo, only
allowed on the terrace and private rooftop but not anywhere on the Miramar property and the use of any recreational drugs on the premises is strictly prohibited.
- Towels or clothing can not be hung from the balcony or in common areas.
- Pets/animals are strictly not permitted.
- Guests are required to leave the unit and its content in the same
condition as before check-in. An inventory will be made before and after your stay. Guests will be responsible for any charges occurred due to repairs, excessive cleaning fees, missing items, etc.
Interaction with Guests:
Check-in is at 4 pm, if a later check-in is required, we can accommodate with a lock box, however, guests will be required to meet the host the following day to check in, review the rules, ask any questions, and be given the orientation of the complex. Check-out is promptly at 11 am.
