The opportunity to find a home with this much to offer does not come around often. While this home has an open concept living, dining, kitchen area, you will most likely find yourself poolside or in the covered outdoor cabana/outdoor kitchen -- which has a dining table, bar and sink, ½ bath and several lounge areas scattered around the pool and hot tub.
It is not often that a home is available with 3 King bedrooms, but Hells Gate Retreat has that luxury. The home has two master bedrooms, both with King beds and ensuite bathrooms. Both rooms have large soaking tubs. One ensuite has a tub/shower combo and the other has a separate soaking tub and a walk-in shower. Both ensuites are roomy with lots of counter space. The third King bedroom is located upstairs and has views of the pool. The full bathroom with a tub/shower combo is not located inside the bedroom but is located just outside the door and could be considered private to the bedroom.
A large bunkroom is located upstairs and down the hall from the King bedroom. The bunkroom is a perfect area for a kid or teen hangout with a TV and several lounge areas located around the room. One of the bunks has two twin beds. The other has a twin on top and a full mattress on bottom. The bunkroom has a full ensuite bathroom as well.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for cooking for a large group with double ovens, m/w, refrigerator, stove and much more. A Keurig is located at the coffee station and a wine bar area can be used as a buffet or drink station. An 8-piece dining table makes it easy to serve a sit-down dinner. The living area also includes additional seating at a 4-piece bar top table. This area is also perfect for entertaining with a bar and poker/gaming table.
The den is tucked just steps away from the living area and has another full bathroom with a walk-in shower. One of the three couches pulls out to a double bed to sleep two additional people. A full laundry area is also conveniently located downstairs.
The covered and partially enclosed outdoor kitchen, situated adjacent to the pool, is a great place to stay in the shade and under a cool ceiling fan, while keeping an eye on the kids in the pool/hot tub. A 6-person table, full size refrigerator, sink and countertop space, makes it easy to serve lunch or dinner buffet style. An outside shower is conveniently located near the private sand volleyball court to easily rinse off after a game in the sand. Community tennis courts and a disc golf course are located just steps from the house.
This property is located 1 mile from Bluff Creek marina who have daily boat slip rentals, boat and jet ski rentals. In addition, during the busy season, they offer pizzas for breakfast, lunch and dinner. PK General Store is located 4.5 miles from our home, and they have a few groceries, breakfast, lunch and dinner available during certain times of the year. During the busy season, they have live Texas music acts on the weekends. Often, these are well-known acts, and you need advance tickets to attend.
Pool can be heated for an additional fee. If you wish to have the pool heated, please let us know 48 hours in advance to allow time to heat the pool. There is a $300 fee to pre heat the pool and $100 per day to keep pool heated up to 85 degrees. Temperature will vary depending on weather conditions.
