Positive: The apartment building is located in a nice neighborhood and it is about 40 minutes away from the city center, by bus and S/U-Bahn. It had basic commodities, like towels, toilet papers, bags, television, a small table and chairs and even a small fridge (which you had to plug in for it to work). Everything was clean and tidy. It was exactly what we needed for two nights in Berlin (but I wouldn't say you can stay more than that).

Negative: We asked the owner several times for the PIN and room number but we didn't get any answer. He eventually answered the same day of our reservation (he answered in the morning, while we checked at night, so there wasn't an actual problem). Also, the ventilation in the bathroom makes a lot of noise. One big problem is that there are no lights outside of the building that the apartments are located, so we had to use our phone flashlights to get in every night... Other than that everything else was exactly as we wanted for a two-day trip to Berlin.

Summary: Simple and Pleasant. Perfect for 2-3 nights.
