A spacious country home set on 50 acres with amazing Peninsula views. The property offers plenty of room to relax and is close to all the attractions the Mornington Peninsula has to offer.
Peninsula Flower House is an Australian colonial home built to encompass the breathtaking views across the southern Peninsula and over the ocean. The house sits upon 50 acres of mixed-use farming, ranging from an established flower grove (Bob's garden), horse agistment, miniature cows, baby doll sheep and a couple of alpacas.
Peninsula Flower House is a world away from the hustle of the city, you will immediately relax and feel at home, there is plenty of privacy available both in the home around the property and yet still be only 10 mins from the nearest town of Rosebud.
Upon entry you will be blown away by the feeling of space and comfort, the large open plan kitchen/dining and lounge room is an entertainers dream.
The main lounge area is full of windows so you can absorb the spectacular views out west. When you're not admiring that view, why not take in the view from the rear of this space over the large dam on the property.
The house has two wings. One wing houses a full laundry, bathroom with bath and shower, separate toilet as well as 2 bedrooms and second loungeroom/movie room.
The second loungeroom/movie room at the far end of one wing is equipped with a large 86inch television, open fireplace, plenty of seating for movie nights.
2 kitchens are available for guest use. The main kitchen is fully equipped with all the mod coms to cook up a storm. This includes dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine (and coffee) and coffee pod machine for those who prefer simplicity and efficiency. A full inventory comprises crockery & glassware and includes the usual suspects (toaster, kettle, sandwich press) and all utensils, pots and pans to cook up a storm. Kitchen 2 has a gas cooktop and exhaust fan for those who like to fry. There is also an outdoor sink on the deck perfect for BBQ prep or cleaning fish before a feast.
Three bedrooms offer comfortable king beds and have built in robes. The fourth bedroom comprises two sets of bunk beds. All bedrooms have doors which open onto the covered outdoor verandahs.
The master bedroom is huge and peaceful, with its own ensuite and access to either side of the house verandahs and views into the treed garden.
All of the bedrooms and living areas have reverse cycle air-conditioning for guest comfort in all conditions and times of the year. The main loungeroom has a wood burning built-in fireplace with fan control for the cosy winters nights, and yes wood is supplied for guest use.
Outside there is a variety of outdoor spaces you can relax in, maybe under a mature gum tree or laze about on the expansive lawn or out on a verandah.
There is a full size synthetic tennis court within the property for those who like some activity. Why not try the mini golf putting green. Some sports equipment is supplied for guest use.
The acreage provides natural terrain with established trees and open spaces, there is an abundance of birdlife and kangaroos which frequent the area. Walk to the large pond behind the house, meet the horses, cows and sheep or just find a sunny spot to sit and relax with a book.
Peninsula Flower House is the perfect place for two families, a group of friends, or a large family looking for a place to escape and unwind.

Pets are allowed by arrangement and guests must disclose and seek advice on this before a booking can be confirmed. Note the property is not fully fenced, so may not suit all pets.
