Positive: The location was as described, with stunning views of the mountains and nothing in between. The only sounds you hear are the sheep, the birds, the wind blowing through the pine trees and the cow bells. The apartment was clean, comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The host was quick to reply when we had questions.
Negative: Both rooms had two separate single beds, which could not be connected together without a gap because of the wooden frame. Having at least one room with a large double/queen bed would have been better (especially if you're travelling with a baby that ends up in your bed in the middle of the night ;-)). It would be great for the host to include the parking details in the description or message prior to arrival. You cannot drive to the house, you must park in the middle of the village and walk 12-minutes with all of your belongings to access the house (or pay CHF 25 for a little van to take you). It wasn't clear to us when we arrived and took a bit to figure this out. When you are travelling with little kids, you have a lot of stuff! In addition to the accommodation cost, be prepared to add on the cost of linen (CHF 80 for four people), parking (CHF 10 per day), tourist tax (CHF 7 per person, per night) & potentially the little van taxi to bring all your stuff to the house (CHF 25.)
