Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Very comfortable two night stay. We've just read the other reviews and are quite surprised, several don't match our experience at all. We stayed in the King Room, which was beautifully decorated and very clean. Outstanding views and lots of stars visible at night. One reviewer said there were no locks on bedroom doors, but our lock worked fine. Our ensuite bathroom had a great shower with a door and was very clean. The accommodation does have a shared living room and kitchen area, which is available for use by all guests. It was very clean and comfortable, with a rustic/country decor, a fireplace and spectacular mountain views. The kitchen was very well equipped, it felt more like someone's cosy home than a generic shared space (in a good way). We only met one other family using the kitchen and had some nice chats.

Negative: The accommodation is newly open for business, and we could see there were still some tweaks being made. When we stayed there were post-it notes left in places rather than an installed sign (e.g. a polite request to leave the kitchen clean). Signs like this are normal in a shared kitchen space, and we didn't mind the post-it.
