Marsh Rose Cottage is a fun, family vacation home that offers you an inexpensive Outer Banks vacation. Ocean and sound views await you in this cozy and comfortable, well- maintained home that sits high on a dune in Duck offering views of the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Just a short walk to the beach or a short bike ride into Duck Village where you can enjoy fine dining and delightful shops.
Ground Level: Exterior amenities include a carport with an outside shower and a park-style charcoal grill. Entry level. Inside you'll find the laundry area with washer and dryer. Beach cart to help carry items to the beach.
Mid Level: Queen Bedroom with a flat-screen TV and a semi-private full bath (shares access with the hallway), Queen Bedroom with a flat-screen TV/DVD, Bedroom with 2 Singles, full hallway bathroom with private Jacuzzi tub room and a Bedroom with 2 Bunk Sets. Deck with chairs.
Top Level: Great room with a flat-screen TV/DVD and deck access. Dining area seating 10 with deck access, kitchen, half bath and space for your computer/keyboard/tablet.
Extras: 3 TVs, DVD player, books, high chair, baby gate, outside shower, charcoal grill, high-speed internet access, parking for 5 vehicles and linens and towels provided. No Smoking. No Pets. Linens and towels provided at no additional cost. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made with the exception of sleep sofas, top bunks and trundle beds in which case the sheets are provided. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the house sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

Summary: This house was perfectly situated to the beach and the town of Duck. We had a great time here. Our dogs were very comfortable. Carpets were a little beat up which makes sense since they allow pets and we were really grateful to have them with us. I didn’t love the outdoor cans filled w cigarette butts but I couldn’t smell them. The house provided sheets bath towels and beach chairs which made packing much easier. The amenities aren’t very updated but we had everything we needed.
