This stunning estate originally built in 1746 underwent an extensive restoration-renovation, along with a partially a new build extension-expansion in 2018 by Georgantas Design + Development. With uncompromising quality, style and luxury in mind, this 5-bedroom, 6 full and 2 half bathroom home offers in-town living at its best, just steps from Main Street. Decorated with one of a kind specialty pieces, ACK Last is ideally situated on one of the most quiet and charming historic streets in the heart of downtown Nantucket.
1st Floor:
Entering from the street, there is an easily accessible, airy and bright first floor master bedroom with king size bed, and an ensuite bathroom. Going forward into the home, there is a historically restored formal living room, and beyond that a dining room with a table large enough to host 14ppl. Just off of the dining room is the chef’s kitchen fully loaded with the largest WOLF range and double ovens, microwave, Subzero refrigeration, beverage fridge, and a baker’s dream enormous marble counter-top island. There are two side entrances from the parking area into the home through the kitchen, as well as the mudroom just beside it. The mudroom has a laundry shoot to throw those sandy towels down after a long day at the beach!
Beyond the Kitchen, there is the spacious Family Room, with an adjacent powder room, an open layout seating area, and dining area. The Family Room includes a gas fireplace and TV. Off of the Family Room one door leads to the outdoor patio with a hard-piped gas grill and dining area. While out of the opposite door, there is a screened in porch, with yet another dining area, and seating by a wood fireplace. Accessible from the patio is an enormous yard, plenty of room for yard games, and summer cocktail parties.
2nd Floor:
On the second floor, is the Master bedroom with a California King sized bed, and en-suite private bath with double sink and shower. As well on the second floor is a guest bedroom with a queen size bed, and an en-suite private bath.
Lower Level
The family room with television greets you as you enter the lower level of the guest house with ample hangout space, fully stocked with games and books for all ages, and a state of the art TV and sound-system. Directly behind the family room is the gym with a climbing wall for the kids on those occasional rainy days! Going towards the hallway is the third guest bedroom with a queen size bed, and an en-suite private bathroom. Turning down the hallway is the Laundry Room with double pairs of washer/dyers and tons of counter space. Continuing down the hallway towards the back of the house are two bathrooms - one has a standing shower, and the other has a tub/shower with a triple sink for the kids our of the adjacent bunk room. At the end of the hallway is the Bunk Room with sleeping for six. It’s a child’s dream room with a rope bridge, reading nooks, hide-away nooks, and plenty of room for fun!!
