Positive: THE OWNERS: busy building out the property but still made time to offer available amenities to me in a personal and kind manner. THE AREA: coyotes and hummingbirds outnumber the humans. NIGHT SKY: just as dark as other rural areas. GENERAL LOCATION: affordable ($40) on a stretch of Highway 60 that doesn't have great alternatives for low-cost stays.
Negative: Google Maps wasn't helpful to find the address. The property is on a street that intersects the neighborhood entrance street at MULTIPLE points. The address is three times deeper into the neighborhood than Google thinks. I think the photos of the property should show spots for tents rather than sample tents.
