Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Superb location on the waterfront and next to the Mutrah Souk. The view from the terrace was superb as was the view from our room which was shown as "harbour view". The room was large enough for two travellers with modest luggage. There was a cupboard for clothes, but not very large. Very clean throughout. Friendly staff. We did not appreciate the breakfast menu so the staff arranged for us to have a plate of fresh fruit, served either in the room or on the terrace, for brakfast.
Negative: There was air-conditioning (which we do not like) but it was not possible to open a window and there was no ceiling fan. There seemed to be a problem with the water supply. It took a long time to get cold or even tepid water: it was always hot!
Summary: Excellent location and friendly staff.
