Our cozy, mid-century mountain cottage is a perfectly situated retreat. The cottage is located in a quiet mountain neighborhood, nestled among pines and aspen where moose and elk are regularly spotted. No other homes are in view. Close to skiing (15 mins to Eldora), mountain shops and restaurants (10 mins to Nederland), plus excellent hikes and biking trails, only 45 minutes from Boulder/Denver. It's the idyllic place to cuddle up after a day adventuring in the Colorado Rockies.
With plenty of space on our 1 1/2 acre property for privacy, here you will find every comfort. A well appointed kitchen opens to the cozy dining and living space with huge windows, bringing the outside in. Cuddle up next to the vintage wood burning stove on the huge couch while you watch a movie, read a book, or simply watch the snow fall silently to the ground. Each bedroom has been designed with the utmost comfort in mind for a snug, restful, mountain sleep.
The cottage sits towards the back of a quiet neighborhood, mostly year-round residents. In winter, the roads are plowed by the county after every snow, all the way to the house, but we still recommend AWD, 4WD, or 2WD with snow chains for the last mile from the highway to the house, just to be on the safe side.
