Summary: The bathroom is very small. The space where the toilet and tub are located, would not fit a larger size person without some major maneuvering (such as having to step into the tub to close the door). The tub faucet was dripping water the entire time. I tied a cloth to the faucet the first night to help soften the noise so we could sleep. The mattress is not comfortable at all and should be upgraded to a more firmer mattress. The room has very poor circulation as it gets very hot even with the window open. Plus, there is a very musty smell as soon as you open the main door. It does dissipate after a while, but the odor is very noticeable every time you walk in. There are some positives. There are quite a few amenities within walking distance. The fridge worked and kept hings cold. The walls (between the rooms) must be well insulated, because we didn't hear any of the other guests. The front staff were very kind. If someone is passing through and needs a quick place to stay for a night and/or is traveling with a pet, then Motel 6 will probably suit your needs. Anything longer than maybe two nights, I would recommend another place to stay. I highly suggest ear plugs as Mayor Magrath is extremely noisy with the motel being so close to the road.
