Positive: The property was super clean, modern, tatami room was great, the beds were comfortable, the private onsen was a godsend after the long walk. There was outdoor space, we didn’t use it as we didn’t have time but it was good to have. The person who welcomed us was very nice and always ready to help.
Negative: For a house that can accommodate so many people and for the price asked there was a definite lack of furniture, big pans, and some other basic stuff to cook. Only two small hobs. The sofa for the tv was against the wall under the tv…. Only option to watch tv was to sit on the floor. Once more not enough room to sit if you are more than 5. The tv was not working, hopefully this will be fixed. Some fixtures were also weirdly organised. Plugs on the wall in the middle of the bed. No space on the sides of the beds at all etc. Which is hard to understand because there is so much lost space, there could easily have been a second bathroom and bedrooms a bit larger. Would I come back ? I wouldn’t say no but definitely not with more than 4 to 5 people and for a couple of nights as a base to visit the are because the lack of furniture prevents us from relaxing, which is a shame because with a bit of effort this could be a great place. The fact that this isn’t exactly cheap had raised our expectations…
