Surrounding by countryside, Monksmoor House is a fantastic rural retreat, with a fine blend of character and contemporary features and furnishings and amenities just a short walk away. Summary: We had a lovely time in this homely but we'll equipped property. We really liked hanging out in the open plan living area and on the upper storey decking. Great location for walks and visit to Durham. One thing: nowhere in the property to let the dog out. Some grass verge outside or fields behind, but she had to be on a lead.
