Positive: Very nice villa overall. All the facilities are provided to have a self-sufficient and comfortable stay. Close enough to a few beaches and places of interest reached easily with a short drive. We would personally consider staying again.
Negative: The main door... After our first night. Our first morning, we were left trapped outside. This is not explained in any of the information that was available/provided to us. If the main wooden door closes on the property. You're essentially trapped outside. We simply had a morning breakfast ourside. The door was closed and we were locked out. This happened to me and my 7 month pregnant partner. I messaged through booking.com. They were rude, insulting and said it was our responsibility to know this. The door doesn't do that and we should contact a local locksmith. All of this information I have documented. Through messages and recorded calls. This information should be presented upon booking. It's not something that should be left and could have presented a genuine emergency. Imagine simply closing a door. To realise everything you own was then locked inside with no way in. We was very *lucky* I had my phone. I personally wasn't even wearing footwear. Doesn't even bare thinking if we had a young child with us trapped inside (which is a very real and daunting possibility). It took several phone calls, messages and poor treatment to be resolved in about 3 hours.. We was told initially it was our fault (we literally just closed a door to keep bugs/insects out). That it was our problem. The lady who messaged me on booking.com, said we have obviously broken the door! That's it's our responsibility to call and arrange said locksmith. It's not our property, no decent or legal locksmith would let 2 random strangers with no id or real responsibility for the property change the lock or let us is in. That scenario is laughable. Then she said we could travel to their office for the spare key, a place 42 minutes drive away. Keep in mind.. We had nothing, nothing but my phone and not even footware. It was all inside the villa. I was then contacted by someone presenting as a translator. Who did apologise, said sorry.
