Summary: This house has it all as far as location, homeliness, cleanliness, and relaxation. I brought my 4.5 year old, my 6 year old, and we had a preteen in one room and I was amazed at just how much this house had to offer them from toys to books to DVD's. They were entertained wonderfully the few hours we were in the house. The garage was full of bikes, there were beach chairs, and the backyard itself was set up for family time. We spent a lot of mornings drinking coffee while reading books on the front porch, watching the local neighborhood yoga club walk back home. The walk to the beach itself was a bit far but you can also hop in the car and park a quarter mile up the road with easy access to the beach. The beach itself was never overly crowded and Pacific City itself while it had a few touristy spots felt more local. It was central to all the places we visited - Tilamook, Lincoln City, Newport, Manzanita, Nehalem, and Oceanside. If you're looking for a good bowl of clam chowder, I highly recommend Current Cafe in Oceanside. We tried Mo's and Pelican Brewery as well and Currents won by a landslide in our personal opinion. Overall, this was the best vacation we've had in a while and it is with great thanks to this home and its owners who answered questions quickly and ensured we were taken care of.
