This super spacious modern ground floor apartment overlooking Newlyn Harbour is close to Mousehole and the coast path. Local village amenities are a short walk or drive away. A practical modern flat with all the mod cons, a perfect place to relax in after exploring West Penwith.
The apartment is located underneath our family home with level access from the parking space which is only a few paces from the private entrance to the apartment.
The sleeping arrangements are one large king size bed and one double sofa bed in the open plan kitchen/dining/living area. Bed linen and towels are included and provided for each guest on arrival.
The house and apartment were completed in 2016 and has underfloor heating and a mechanical heat recovery system so it is very warm and cosy. All doorways are wide enough for wheelchair access. The kitchen has a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, full size fridge freezer and oven/grill. A washing airier is provided as clothes dry so quickly in this modern house! The bathroom is very luxurious and also very practical with a shower over the bath. Available in the apartment for our younger guests are two highchairs, two dining chair booster seats, two under mattress bed guards and one travel cot.
Outside the apartment is a small enclosed gated space to sit out when the weather is warm and it is safe for pets and children. There is use of a hose pipe and wet suit hanger in this area which is always handy for surfers and dog walkers alike.
Driveway parking for one car with 1x Type 2 - 7khw electric vehicle charging point available to use for £7 per night between 23:30 - 05:30 and works automatically on a timer. Electric car charging outside these times is £30 per day, please message for more information. CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE
Mountsbay is an exceptionally beautiful place, to give you an idea of our location Mousehole is only a 25-40-minute walk along the picturesque coast where you can sit on the white sandy harbour beach or if you’re brave enough take a jump into the sea from the harbour wall. In the other direction you can take a stroll through Newlyn past the harbour and the fish market and enjoy a delicious lunch of fresh fish and chips topped off with a local ice-cream.
You can walk from the house, but it is a very steep hill! A car would definitely be helpful to explore Cornwall from here. There is a bus that runs from the bottom of the hill to Mousehole and Penzance. From Penzance you can connect to buses and the mainline trains.
