This gated community offers hiking trails, fishing, lakes and streams, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, tennis courts, picnic tables and much more. Positioned at the highest point of the community, Stardust Ridge offers breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and majestic skies that warm the soul any time of the day. This "modern spin" on a rustic cabin offers 3 levels of spacious living for the whole family or a romantic mountain getaway for couples.
No expenses were spared in customizing this unique house with modern day amenities with YOU, the guest, in mind. Built in 2023 guests will find this cabin to be warm and welcoming - a pure delight - while comfortably feeling like your "home away from home".
1st Floor
Stepping inside from the front door, you enter into the kitchen that spills over into an open floor plan to the connecting great room. The kitchen has marble countertops, hand sawn stained cabinets and stainless steel appliances that include a refrigerator, microwave, electric oven and dishwasher. Kitchen is stocked with a Ninja blender, Instapot, air fryer, toaster, pots/pans, a CrockPot, Keurig Duo coffee pot (drip and K-cups), adult and children plateware/flatware, and much more.
The great room features a 75-inch Smart TV for use of guests' own favorite apps (i.e. Netflix, YouTube, Amazon, etc.) with plenty of seating. The focal point of the great room is the camel-colored leather couch that fronts the remote controlled fireplace, with a stylish nesting table adding character to the room. Step through the sliding glass doors (from either the great room or the master bedroom) to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature while relaxing on the deck. The main level deck dons an outdoor gas fireplace, an outdoor Smart TV, a Weber propane grill, and plenty of seating. Our hope is that guests enjoy all amenities offered, but we do ask that the outdoor TV remains covered when not in use. The kitchen/great room area is connected to the master bath with a separate toilet and barrel sink that closes off on either side.
Guests will find the 1st of 2 master suites located on the 1st Floor. The master bath will simply take your breath away and features dual sinks, a magnificent copper soaking tub, and an oversized walk-in, tiled shower with an extra overhead shower head to wash off the day. The master King bed will cradle you to sleep with its luxury Dreamcloud mattress or fall asleep to your favorite show while watching the Smart TV located in the room. A walk-in closet with a laundry room can be found just off of the master bedroom, readily available for guests' use.
2nd Floor
Meander up the staircase and find a 2nd master suite with its own loft space and private deck. This entire 2nd floor is an open floor plan and boasts a King bed, private full bathroom (with tiled shower) and small den area with designated work space and loveseat. Guests on this level can step out onto their own private deck to relax, read, welcome the morning's sunrise or wonder in the beauty of each day's sunset. Owners have added a sliding barn door for privacy and stained Ponderosa pine floors to warm the space - all with guests in mind to complete this level of contemporary marvel.
Basement/Terrace level
Venture downstairs and let the basement space surprise you at every turn! This entire floor features stamped cement floors, rustic barn tin on ceiling throughout and furnishings that make Stardust Ridge stand out among its competitors. This cabin is unique and fun - this gem has been customized to perfection by the owners when building this mountain getaway. Twin XL bunk beds are built into the walls within the den and each bed has its own cubby with USB ports and outlets. A kitchenette with bar height seating, marble countertops, beverage fridge, coffee maker and microwave awaits. An additional bedroom with King bed is also on the lower level, plus a 3rd full bathroom that is complete with tile shower.
Looking for fun times and making memories? Access to a Smart TV, board games galore, bean bag chairs, an XL wall hanging Scrabble board and inside cabin ring toss will provide hours of it! Need more? Try your hand at foosball or the arcade gaming unit. The arcade unit offers some nostalgic faves, for little and big kids alike, that include Ms. PacMan, Galaga, Galaga '88, Dig Dug, Dig Dug II, Mappy, Rally-X, Rolling Thunder, Rompers, The Tower of Druaga, King & Balloon.
