Summary: This is the cutest VRBO in the ever, in the cutest town ever. The house is adorably New England, but I was nervous seeing exterior door to my unit, which looked the entrance to a cheap, probably dirty and shabby, apartment. But all you have to do is get passed the mud room to see that this VRBO is even better than the pictures show. While the cleaners and I crossed paths (they’d lost track of time) the place was spotless before they’d even finished cleaning it and they were dealing with details such as the curtains and windows. She was lovely and told me some tips about the town, where to get the best ice cream (!!!). The house has been beautifully renovated and no detail was spared. It is beautifully decorated; the owner has lovely taste. The kitchen and bathrooms are all new. It is HUGE for a two bedroom place. You can sleep a lot of people. if you want to. Grafton is a charming, quintessential historic New England town. It would be a perfect place for visiting Vermont Academy and I wish I’d discovered it before graduation. The hot tub was dirty from the prior tenants, but I hadn’t remembered there was one and I didn’t really care. My only frustration is that I could have rented this place for several hundred dollars less on another site. Realizing that while I stayed there left me with a bad feeling, but I guess that’s what I get for not shopping around.
