Remote, water-access only property. We provide a 15 min. boat shuttle from Port Moody at 3 PM for check-ins & 10 AM for check-outs, included in your stay. Every *case-by-case* alternative check-in & check-out time has a $50 fee.
Floating on your 40 ft. long docked oasis, you will truly experience being off-grid.
BOAT SHUTTLE:
Please note that this is a water-access only, remote property. The uniqueness of the property offers unique challenges and costs. We are NOT a hotel. Please respect that we have a time restrictive check-in and check-out process to make this project possible to exist.
We provide an approximate 15 minute boat shuttle to Cape Carraholly Retreat from the meeting point at Rocky Point in Port Moody, B.C. One boat shuttle, per cabin for both the check-in and check-out process, is included in the cost of your stay. The boat shuttle accommodates 8 guests at a time.
Team members on-site will transport guests & their luggage from the dock to the cabins in a Side-by-Side Passenger Vehicle, unless your cabin is right in front of the dock.

We are unauthorized to provide specific location details until a reservation has been booked. The booking confirmation message will also contain a FAQ page which may answer most of the questions you may have.

You do not need to communicate with us to arrange your boat shuttle. If our team needs to stagger the boat shuttles and alter your check-in time, they will contact you.
EXTRA FEES

**********Every alternative check-in time has a $50 fee.
If the boat shuttle seats have already been filled for the 3 p.m. time slot, the next available time slot (3:45 p.m.) will become available at no extra cost, and so forth. You may also select the earlier time slots of 2:15 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. at an additional cost of $50. If the 3 p.m. boat shuttle has not been filled and can accommodate your group, any later or earlier check-in shuttle requested will have an extra fee of $50. This is because boat shuttles are quite labor and fuel intensive and require compensation for extra shuttles we must provide to accommodate guests’ schedules. We are flexible to provide boat shuttles until 6 p.m. We only provide shuttles past 6 p.m. on an inquiry basis only; please inquire BEFORE you book a reservation. Please also note that we cannot
guarantee an earlier or later check-in; please inquire BEFORE your book a reservation.

If the boat shuttle seats have already been filled for the 10 a.m. time slot, the next available time slot (10:45 a.m.) will become available at no extra cost, and so forth. Unlike earlier check-ins, if the 10 a.m. time slot is full, the closest earlier shuttle will become available, at no extra cost (9:15 a.m.). If the 10 a.m. shuttle is not full and can accommodate your group, any earlier or later boat shuttle will have an extra fee of $50. We are often flexible to provide earlier check-outs as early as 7:00 a.m. with extra fees applicable. Please note that we cannot guarantee an earlier or later check-out; please inquire BEFORE your book a reservation.

Extra Boat Shuttles: $50
You may need to request an additional boat shuttle if:
● You have excessive luggage. Staff have the right to use their discretion to determine
whether the boat’s weight adheres to safety regulations.
● You request extra boat shuttles throughout your stay.
● Please note that the $50 fee for alternative check-in or check-out times is not added to additional boat shuttles that already have the fee of $50.
Late Fee: $25

GUEST PARKING:
Free parking is available for guests’ vehicles within a parking garage at the Port Moody Legion Club 119.
Although we provide free parking for guests, guests are responsible for transporting themselves to the meeting point at Rocky Point, and covering any costs that may arise.
The walk from the Legion Club 119 to the meeting point at Rocky Point takes
approximately 10 minutes to complete. You may alternatively call an Uber or taxi.

THE FLOATING LOVE NEST (MINI-YACHT)
This floating Air BnB is attached to a dock as part of Cape Carraholly Retreat, nestled in British Columbia's old growth, oceanfront rainforest. Floating on your docked oasis, affectionately dubbed the “Floating Love Nest”, you will truly experience being off the grid with a state of the art solar power system that provides you with ease as you utilize small appliances (microwave, hair dryer etc.) throughout your stay onboard. This unique, floating AirBnb offers an incomparable open concept and a lounging space inviting you to get cozy by the warmth of an outdoor gas fire pit on the rooftop of the boat, or relax on the large custom design patio furniture. Perfect for any season and a unique experience for treating that special someone! There are 2 double beds, suitable for a maximum guest capacity of 4 guests. The kitchen is equipped for all of your cooking needs and contains a stovetop, oven, mini fridge, microwave, and much more.

PROPERTY:
Cape Carraholly Retreat contains 5 spacious cabins, a mini-yacht and other upcoming projects on a 75 acre oceanfront property near Port Moody, B.C. Discover hiking trails throughout the dense rainforest of the təmtəmíxʷtən/ Belcarra Regional Park where you will encounter beautiful hidden beaches, diverse flora and fauna, and trees older than 500 years. Step out the back door and enjoy quick access to an abundance of outdoor activities including kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, crabbing, and swimming.
PLEASE NOTE:
This is a mechanical, off-grid boat, attached to a dock along an ocean fjord. There are times when certain parts do not function as you would normally expect if you were on a land dwelling Air BnB. While we ensure the functionality of everything prior to your stay, there's a possibility that status may change while you're on board. Rest assured, we will work with you remotely or come to the boat and solve any issues that may have occurred.
GUEST ACCESS:
Guests will have access to the whole inside cabin of the boat, with the exception of a small locker in the bow. Guests will also enjoy access to the rooftop patio as well as back patio.
Guests will not have access to the engine compartment, nor the side bridges and front anchoring bridge. Those areas are restricted due to risk of falling and slipping.
Access to the property is limited due to its remote location. You must coordinate transport logistics with the host in order to enter and depart from the property during your stay.
Guests have full access to the boat and densely-wooded 75 acres the boat surrounded by. Guests also have access to the dock, beach, and hiking trails within the property.

WIFI:
Since this is a remote property, wifi is limited and may be slow or unreliable. If you have work-from-home needs, you may want to consider alternative accommodations.
POTENTIAL FOR DISTURBANCE:
There are occasionally large waves that rock the boat as a result of nearby commercial shipping lane activity. There is also a potential for noise due to occasional nearby train activity.
PRIVACY:
Although the windows of the boat are equipped with blinds for privacy, please note that staff and guests will need to use the dock that this mini-yacht is parked next to in order to access the pontoon shuttle boat and other operational equipment.
INFANTS:
Although we are open to hosting infants, we do not provide the supplies necessary for the accommodation of infants (cribs, dishes, child gates, etc.). The units are also not set-up to ensure the safety of young children and may contain hazards. The safety and wellbeing of infants is ultimately the responsibility of their parents/ caregivers.
WEATHER:
Please dress warmly and prepare yourself for unexpected weather conditions. We strongly advise that you bring rain gear since the pontoon shuttle boat provides limited rain protection.
REMOTE PROPERTY:
-You must understand that this a remote property in the wilderness and thus requires attention to the risks of exposure to the elements or wildlife.
SWIMMING:
All guests accessing the beaches may swim at their own risk. Guests' safety is their responsibility and up to their own discretion. The waterfront is part of the ocean and may therefore have under-tides and other hazards.
REPORTING ISSUE:
Guests are responsible for reporting any electrical issue, plumbing issue, or non-functioning item or appliance within the unit.
EXTRA FINES:
-Amount to be determined by the host as judged reasonable and with supporting documents.
OTHER DETAILS
1. The ceiling height is of 6' 2" (188 cm) and the mattresses are 72 inches long (+/-). This accommodation might not suit a tall individual.
2. If you stay longer than 3 nights, the host will be checking the water tank levels as well as other systems and fuel to make sure everything runs smoothly and nothing runs out. This could be daily, depending on usage and number of occupants. The host will always communicate ahead of time and be considerate of your privacy and preferences.
