This is a lovely 120m2 two floor stone house, fully equipped with wifi, washer, cable tv, outdoor facilities, barbecue and more, able to comfortably accommodate up to 6 people in a private and serene environment with multiple terraces and great outdoor facilities!
The house is beautifully decorated with wooden furniture and ceilings, traditional ornaments, antique furniture and equipped with every detail for your hassle free stay. There is a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and dining area. There is cable TV and wifi.
On the first floor there is one ensuite bedroom and living room area with air condition. On the ground floor, there is the second ensuite bedroom, one more living room with fireplace and the kitchen. Two more people can sleep on two extra single beds on the first floor.
You can enjoy your drinks and meals or just relax while sunbathing in the first floor balcony or on the two terraces which are beautifully surrounded with many trees and flowers. A beautiful mulberry tree offers great natural shade throughout the day, a ping pong table are available as also barbecue and outdoor furniture & facilities. Property is 100% private and fenced.
• Bedrooms
There are two spacious ensuite bedrooms. On the first floor there is one ensuite double bedroom. The bedroom has side tables and wardrobe. The living room area of the first floor has two more single beds and it is air conditioned. There is an extra door that gives access to the ensuite bathroom. There is access to the balcony with beautiful views of the area. The second ensuite bedroom is on the ground floor and has one double bed, bedside tables and wardrobe. Both rooms are beautifully decorated in earthy, traditional textiles and wooden furniture. Plenty of light bathes the rooms through the windows.
• Bathrooms
Two ensuite bathrooms respectively one in each floor. They are new and beautifully designed with sink, toilet and shower. A washing machine is available. All kinds of essentials and towels are provided for the guests.
• Kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher and modern electrical appliances to help you prepare any meal of the day. There is a microwave, kettle, toaster, filter coffee and espresso maker. The wooden dining table and chairs can comfortably accommodate eight persons while there is additional access to the terrace.
• Living Room
There are two comfortable sofas and a coffee table. The rooms are tastefully decorated with wooden furniture, pictures, traditional ornaments, and lampshades to create a homely and relaxing atmosphere. There is a 32 inch Cable/Satellite TV available. If you are a wintertime visitor you can also relax and keep warm in front of the fireplace. Central heating is also available.
• Outdoors
The house has one very large balcony/terrace on the first floor with outdoors furniture and an extra large parasol. It offers beautiful views of the area. On the ground floor there are two different terraces with tree and flowers ideal for enjoying your drinks, meals, sunbathing or just reading your book and relaxing.
The terraces offer numerous amenities such as a ping pong table, hammock and sun loungers. If you feel like experimenting with some traditional cooking there is a barbecue and stone built oven available. A large beautiful mulberry tree offers extra cool natural shade for the hot summer days. Finally, if you are travelling with children the terraces are fenced, totally safe and the little ones can have hours of non stop outdoors fun.

The house is situated in a small and peaceful village called Psathogiannos, 20km outside the city center of Chania. The nearest cafe, restaurant and supermarket is at Gerani village, just some minutes of driving distance. The nearest beaches are about 6km away. At the popular seaside town of Platanias you can find ATM, pharmacy, wide range of shops as well as organised beaches and water sport facilities. The house is in an excellent location if you are planning to visit the famous beaches of Falasarna, Elafonisi, and Palaiochora.
It is also an ideal location if you are looking for escaping the tourist crowds of Chania city or Agioi Apostoloi and Agia Marina areas. Still, you are at close reach in case you get into a more cosmopolitan mood or feel like enjoying the nightlife of Platanias
