5 Bedroom Cottage in Arrochar

Nestled at the head of serene Loch Long, Rowantree Cottage is a peaceful retreat for those seeking a break from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Boasting breath-taking views across the loch, this spacious, recently refurbished property merges contemporary elegance with original charm.
With five bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, Rowantree provides a perfect space for large gatherings of family and friends who want to create lasting memories, surrounded by spectacular scenery.
When you step inside Rowantree Cottage, a warm welcome radiates from every room. The ground floor invites you to relax in an open plan living dining room with a a Smart TV, equipped with Netflix and an Amazon Firestick. The space is ideal for shared meals and conversations, while the modern kitchen is well-equipped with an electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and a washing machine.
The ground floor also houses a comfortable bedroom, fitted with a zip and link king size bed, which can be set as two twin beds upon request. Its accompanying ensuite features a walk-in shower, a toilet, and a heated towel rail.
Up a staircase the first floor to the front of the building has two bedrooms, one a king and the other 2 singles and a toddler bed. Both bedrooms have ensuites.
The second staircase leads to the back of the house and contains two more bedrooms. The first with a double bed and the second bedroom, through the double bedroom, has a zip and link super king which can also be set up as 2 singles on request. The bedroom with a double does not have an ensuite but could use the bathroom at the bottom of the stairs if separate bathrooms are required.
If requested we may be able to lock the door between these 2 bedrooms and access to the super king bedroom can be from the fitted patio doors instead if preferred.
Guests enjoy oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels, and free Wi-Fi throughout their stay.

Summary: We did all have a nice time, but the cottage was dirty and smelled, recycling couldn’t be done, food in the bin had been there months and the smell was awful, bottles over flowing, no hot water in the bathrooms for two bedrooms, one shower was very mouldy, Dirty bath mat, dirty cupboards, food still in the freezer from other occupants, fire place full of ashes, some taps the water dribbled out, toilet seat broken, garden was over grown pathing slabs loose, hot tub cloudy and smelly, the step into tub was green and mouldy, bees nest in the shed by the seating area, garden furniture was messy and needed a clean, kitchen bin was broken, one window had been nailed shut, radiators rusty and peeling. but stunning views and a good location, it used to be a bed and breakfast and had lovely reviews, I’m assuming it has been brought by someone else, it could be a fantastic place with a little care and attention
