"Blue Ridge Triangle” is situated amongst hundred years-old soaring pine trees and overlooking the rushing trophy trout waters of Fightingtown Creek, this A-frame is less than ten minutes to Downtown Blue Ridge and offers a stylish, vintage take on a 1970's mountain vacation. Complete with two levels of outdoor living, soaring rolled steel outdoor fireplace and outdoor dining, river view jacuzzi, and comfortable bedrooms, this is a take on modern mountain luxuries!
The space is setup as a quintessential A-frame, but modernized. Walls of glass and double doors in the living room invite you to let the outdoors, in. Primary suite's glass peak is setup with a crank window that allows guests to drift away or day nap to the sounds of the rushing creek below. Living room is comfortable and made for gathering; setup with two large sofas, TV, and doors that open up to the outdoor living space w/ fireplace and dining area. Kitchen is open-concept with eat-in peninsula. Complete with a five burner gas range/oven combo, fridge/freezer drawers and additional fridge, large prep area and well stocked kitchenware. Main level bedroom suite complete with fluffy queen bed and spa-like bathroom with tile shower and massaging rain heads. Unique staircase leads to OPEN CONCEPT primary suite and cathedral ceilings. Large California king bed makes daytime naps stylish. Bathroom area with large dramatic vanity wall and behind it is the hidden basalt tile shower with massaging rain head and handheld shower, as well as the toilet room. Wander down the exterior deck stairs to the terrace level bunk room and additional den space, bathroom, TV media area, and laundry room. Terrace level deck finished with swinging day bed and barrel jacuzzi! From the terrace level, find a riverside fire bowl with Adirondack chairs for nights with toasty marshmallows, warm toes, and the wonderful creek. For the anglers at heart, guests may find themselves fly fishing for Blue Ridge's TROPHY TROUT!
IMPORTANT - Please note that this cabin is not recommended for guests with small children or for people who may find difficulty walking on stone paths or using steep staircases. Guests should use caution using the outdoor stone path and wooden gangway at night or during times it may be wet or icy. Contact your hosts for any questions.

Summary: Our family really enjoyed our stay! The house is beautiful inside and out. We enjoyed barbecuing and eating on the deck, sitting by the fireplace at night, roasting marshmallows by the fire pit, relaxing in the hot tub and morning coffee on the deck listening to the river. My son caught 2 small trout in the river. Location only 25 minute drive to Ocoee white water rafting, which was why we came to the area. The steps down to the house where as described and well maintained, path to the river steep as expected. It was fine for us, but may be difficult for those with mobility issues or small children. Of note, there is no access to the lower level from inside the house, only entrance is from the lower deck, also not a problem for us. Overall the house is beautiful, we enjoyed all the amenities and Matthew was very quick to respond and very nice to work with. Highly recommend!
