Located within easy walking distance (0.5 mi) from MASS MoCA and downtown North Adams, this lovely 2-bedroom home built in 1880 is a perfect home base for a weekend or a longer escape to the Berkshires. With two separate dedicated workspaces, laundry facilities, a full kitchen with dishwasher, spacious living and dining rooms, a peaceful backyard, and a gorgeous library, this spot is ideal for a work-from-home getaway, family vacation, girls' weekend, or couple's retreat. Linens, towels, basic pantry items, and games included. Come in June to enjoy some fresh berries from our raspberry bushes!
The space
Downstairs: kitchen, dining room, living room, pantry with laundry, full bath.
Upstairs: two bedrooms (one queen; one queen + twin with workspace), full bath (including bathtub), workspace nook at the top of the stairs.
Outside: picnic table & benches, yard, small side porch, driveway.
Guest access
Guests will have full run of the house and yard, with the exception of the following spaces that are inaccessible to guests and will be locked:
- utility room on first floor;
- basement and attic
- storage space off of Bedroom 2
Driveway can accommodate up to three cars parked nose-to-tail.
