Positive: Breakfast was good but we had to queue outside dining rm for 20 minutes to get in . There were many tables packed with used plates , bowls , cups etc but the staff on were all running and severely under pressure. It was simply very understaffed , and they were still pleasant under pressure. We had to leave our scrambled eggs uneaten because we ran out of time and had to leave for an event we were attending.
Negative: The bedroom was comfortable , the shower was good. The biggest problem with the hotel is the very poor quality of the food served in the dining room room . We stay regularly in the hotel and always need food when we arrive but we have learned from hard experience not to eat in the dining room . There is very little few other places in Loughrea to get decent food so it’s a shame the hotel can’t do it.
Summary: It is in convenient location for us , a roof over our head , breakfast good but food otherwise bad.
