Little Mersley Farmhouse is located on the Garlic Farm nestled at the foot of Mersley Down in the Arreton Valley, an area of outstanding natural beauty. Following a sensitive renovation, it is now available as our largest most well appointed cottage. The property sleeps up to 10 in 2 double ensuite rooms and 3 twin rooms. It works very well for families with a mixture of adults and children and a has a large wood fired hot tub in the garden (Extra cost, available on request). Guests enjoy our onsite restaurant and farm shop which serves breakfast and lunch every day as well as access to the games room, tennis court, football pitch and open access to all the beautiful surrounding land. Chickens, peacocks and red squirrels roam freely around the farm with highland cattle and horses in the surrounding fields.
The farm is ideally located for exploring the Island, lying at the hub of miles of footpaths and cycle ways for which the Island is famous with beaches no more than 10 minutes away by car.
Ground floor:
Spacious downstairs master bedroom with en suite toilet and shower. Accessible for those who find stairs difficult. The room is furnished with a romantic brass bed and tasteful chest of drawers and wardrobe. The sitting room benefits from a wood burning stove bringing warmth and atmosphere. The dining room is off the well-equipped galley kitchen with separate cloakroom/utility room and toilet.
First floor:
Double bedroom with ensuite shower and toilet. Twin bedded room and separate bathroom with bath tub.
Second floor:
Two twin bedded rooms in the eaves of the house.
Outdoor:
Large fenced garden with garden furniture, gas barbecue and wood fired hot tub (Extra cost, available on request),

Summary: Booked to stay at the garlic farm for a little weekend break. We booked the little Mersley cottage. Sleeps 10 however we just had 4 adults. Wow what an amazing cosy cottage. We arrived later than expected, but the cottage was open for us. And little welcome gift of chutney and garlic from the farm. The cottage was very well equipped with all the essentials we needed including bedding and towels, shampoo and body wash, toilet rolls, kitchen well equipped with washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, tea towels, tea, coffee, sugar and fresh milk in the fridge. Plenty of wood for the wood burner, which we had on both nights: We hired the wood burning hot tub which was so lovely and relaxing. We had breakfast on site in the restaurant both days. Great choice of food and a visit to the shop also where we stocked up on delicious goodies to take home. We had a late check out of 11am on the Sunday morning, which was great as we didn’t feel rushed to get out of the cottage early. I would definitely recommended staying in this wonderful cottage.
