Welcome to Lilypad Cove on Acton Island! This newly built 4+1 bedroom, 3+1 bathroom bungalow cottage offers stunning finishes and a well laid out open concept living, dining and kitchen area. The large south facing windows and doors offer beautiful bright views of the private and quite cove and surrounding forest and invite you to enjoy the wonderfully landscaped level lot with its delightful lawn for fun and games, fire pit for nighttime story telling, private sandy beach and tiny island for swimming and play, and boathouse complete with 4 kayaks, 4 paddle boards, 1 canoe and 1 paddle boat all available for guest use.
The primary bedroom is complemented by large sliding glass doors leading to the lakeview patio, its own beautiful ensuite complete with a spacious walk-in shower, soaker tub and double vanity. The second bedroom offers its own sliding glass doors with lakeview patio access while the third and fourth bedrooms offer large bright windows overlooking the surrounding forest and a Jack and Jill bathroom between them. The fully finished garage with 2 glass garage doors has been converted into a games room featuring a pool table, seating, fridge, and other games. It’s bright, spacious, and close to the main cottage making it the perfect hangout for family and friend. There is an additional suite above the garage complete with a queen bed, sofa, TV, and full bathroom making this the perfect spot for additional guests.
Spanning the length of the cottage is a spacious hardscaped patio with outdoor seating to enjoy your meals with family and friends while you barbeque and enjoy the tranquility and peacefulness of this wonderful location. Close to Bala and Port Carling, this cottage strikes the perfect balance between privacy and all the social amenities Muskoka has to offer.
