1 Bedroom House in Saint Roch, New Orleans

Lilac Lair can accommodate up to two guests comfortably, utilizing one queen bed and one twin daybed. We do not offer sleeper sofas. The interior living space is 600 square feet.
The owner lives in the back half of the house, and rents out the front half. There is an interior door separating the two units. This privacy door is insulated for noise control and is locked from both sides of the home, giving complete security for both parties. No one will enter the apartment during a stay unless the guests have a maintenance request and approve our entry prior to arrival.
Guests have a private entrance on the front side of Lilac Lair. Follow the sidewalk to the front porch stoop, and walk up the five steps leading to the front door, which faces Mandeville Street. There is a lockbox beside the door. Guests will receive the code prior to check-in.
The interior of Lilac Lair is newly remodeled. It was our goal to make modern improvements while holding true to New Orleans' charm. We wanted to showcase the home's high ceilings, decorative fireplaces, wood floors, and personal artistic details. Lilac Lair is the perfect place for a couple or solo traveler to unwind in between Big Easy adventures.
Upon entry, guests are welcomed by the unique kitchenette and dining space. Here, guests will find a mini fridge, purified water for hot or cold water, a microwave, a toaster, and a K-cup coffee maker. The kitchenette is well-stocked with snacks and coffee fixings to get guests started. For the sake of good hygiene, we are only offering disposable silverware, plates, cups, and wine glasses. Please note that Lilac Lair does not offer a full kitchen, but we can recommend hundreds of amazing restaurants for guests to explore.
The living room hosts a comfy leather sofa, a coffee table, and flat-screen smart television. Guests are to sign in to their own app accounts and are responsible for signing out upon departure.
The living room/flex room also hosts a twin daybed, a nightstand with a reading lamp, and a small set of bookshelves. There is a sense of privacy in this sleeping area, despite its openness.
Down the hallway, guests will find the private bedroom with a queen bed, a mounted flat-screen smart television, two nightstands with reading lamps, and a closet and dresser for luggage storage. Our queen mattress is absolutely amazing. It sleeps like a dream!
The three-piece bathroom has a classic cast-iron clawfoot tub/shower combo, vanity, fresh linens, and toiletries.
