Positive: Communication with the owner was very good, he was interested in us, we communicated via WatsAPP. The apartment was nice, clean, well equipped. We were satisfied during the entire stay. Self check in and self check out went well. The apartment is located close to the historic center and 10 minutes by foot from the train station. The supermarket is also close, about 5 minutes by foot. Overall, I rate this apartment very positively
Negative: The apartment is located at the intersection of a busy road, so you need to be prepared for more traffic during the day. It's a little further to the sea, about 20 minutes on foot. We were a little surprised by the sidewalks, or rather not even sidewalks but various obstacles on the sidewalks (parked motorcycles, garbage in bags or directly in garbage cans, since the collection of separated garbage works here according to a certain calendar). The sidewalks were in many cases very narrow and it was not possible to walk well with a stroller. This is not so much a negative assessment of the accommodation as it is of the city of Avola in general.
